Appraisals for Central Florida collections
Orlando and Winter Park have a long-established collecting community, from family collections built over decades to newer homes in Windermere, Lake Nona and Dr. Phillips. Whether you need a value for your insurer, an estate or a charitable gift, the report has to state the right type of value, as of the right date, with enough support to stand up to review.
Helmuth Art Advisory serves Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties from Sarasota. Every appraisal is prepared to USPAP standards by Austin Helmuth, a member of the International Society of Appraisers with more than 15 years in the fine art market.
Insurance, estates and donations
Inland homes are not immune to storm damage, roof leaks or power-loss humidity, so an up-to-date insurance appraisal matters in Central Florida too. Executors handling an Orlando estate need date-of-death fair market values, and donors giving art to a museum or university need a qualified appraisal prepared by a qualified appraiser.
Start by sending a few phone photos through the form. Fees are quoted upon request. Please note that an appraisal is not an authentication service.
